In this article we review an incident in the life of St. John Bosco, the saint known among other things for his revelatory and prophetic dreams. In one dream St. John Bosco is severely admonished for having put his hope in men and not in God. It is an important lesson for today’s Christians to meditate on who we put our trust in, to the point of giving access to nothing less than the health of our body, when from Heaven we are warned not to trust in misused human science. Do we consider it prudent to disregard God’s warnings and put our trust in men?

En este artículo repasamos un incidente en la vida de San Juan Bosco, el santo conocido entre otras cosas por sus sueños reveladores y proféticos. En el sueño, San Juan Bosco es amonestado severamente por haber puesto su esperanza en los hombres y no en Dios. Una lección importante para que los cristianos meditemos acerca de en quiénes ponemos nuestra confianza, llegando a dar acceso ni mas ni menos que a la salud de nuestro cuerpo, cuando desde el Cielo se nos advierte de no confiar en la ciencia humana “mal empleada“. ¿Consideramos prudente desoir las revelaciones de Dios y poner nuestra confianza en los hombres?

May the peace that Jesus bears with Him reach every home and find you ready to receive the Holy Family in your hearts.
In these difficult times, may the love contained in the knowledge of the truth (Jn. 8:32) penetrate and expand in you, bearing fruits of conversion.
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the holy Spirit be with all of you.” (2 Cor. 13,13)
May the Lord bless you in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Que la paz que porta consigo Jesús llegue a cada hogar y los encuentre preparados para recibir a la Sagrada Familia en sus corazones.
