This Thursday (August 5th) is Virgin Mary’s Birthday
Although the feast of the nativity of the Virgin Mary is celebrated in the liturgy on September 8th (a conventionally chosen date), there are several Marian revelations indicating that Virgin Mary’s birth actually occurred on August 5th, the most recognized being the one given in Medjugorje.
On 2018 Jesus indicated to Luz de María that He wanted His Mother to be honored especially on Her birthday:
My People, My Mother, as the Blessed Princess/Infant, beseeches each one of you to be at every instant living temples of My Holy Spirit, AND AS HER SON (cf. I Cor 3,16-17), I WANT MY PEOPLE TO HONOR MY MOTHER BY ENTERING INTO HER IMMACULATE HEART AND ASK FOR HER PROTECTION ON HER BIRTHDAY. Heaven celebrates such an Exalted Princess/Infant; may you, children, embrace the Graces that you obtain from Heaven on such a great date.
Our Lord Jesus Christ to Luz de María – Aug. 05, 2018This Thursday (August 5th), is then a special date to offer a special gift to the beloved Mother. With that purpose, these are some suggestions for this date:
- Attending Mass (in person or on YouTube).
- Help other/s doing some work or act in honor to the Virgin Mary for free.
- Renew the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
- Perform some or many of the Works of Mercy.
- Pray the Holy Rosary.

Este Jueves 5 de agosto es el cumpleaños de la Virgen María
Si bien la fiesta de la natividad de la Virgen María se celebra en la liturgia el 8 de septiembre (fecha elegida convencionalmente por la Iglesia por desconocer la verdadera), existen varias revelaciones marianas que indican que el nacimiento de María ocurrió en realidad un 5 de agosto, siendo la más reconocida la dada en Medjugorje.
En 2018 Jesús le indicó a Luz de María que deseaba que se honre especialmente a Su Madre en el día de su cumpleaños:
Pueblo Mío, Mi Madre como Bendita Infanta, les ruega a cada uno de ustedes ser en todo instante templos vivos de Mi Santo Espíritu Y COMO SU HIJO (Cf I COR 3,16-17), DESEO QUE MI PUEBLO HONRE A MI MADRE ADENTRÁNDOSE EN SU INMACULADO CORAZÓN Y LE SOLICITEN SU PROTECCIÓN EN EL DÍA DE SU NACIMIENTO. El 5 de agosto, que este año cae en día jueves, es entonces una ocasión apropiada para ofrecerle a la Madre celestial un regalo especial. Con este fin y como es de costumbre, proponemos algunas opciones para esta fecha:
- Asistir a Misa (presencialmente o por Youtube).
- Realizar alguna acción gratuita en honor a María de la que otro/s puedan beneficiarse.
- Renovar la Consagración al Inmaculado Corazón de María.
- Realizar alguna o varias de las Obras de Misericordia.
- Rezar el Santo Rosario.
