Mujer, he ahi a tu hijo. Hijo ahi tienes a tu Madre

El evangelio de hoy nos retrotrae al nacimiento de la Iglesia, instituyendo a María santísima en una posición especial dentro de ella, como madre de toda la humanidad. El último gesto de amor de Jesús, ya crucificado, es el don de su propia Madre. Esto se realiza en el bello diálogo en el que une a su madre y al discípulo amado como madre e hijo: “Mujer, ahí tienes a tu hijo… Ahí tienes a tu madre” (Jn 19,26.27).

Woman, this is your son. Son, this is your Mother

Today’s Gospel takes us back to the birth of the Church, asigning Blessed Virgin Mary a special role within it, as mother of all humanity. Jesus last act of love at the cross, is the gift of His own Mother. This is done in the beautiful dialogue in which He unites His Mother and the beloved disciple as mother and child: “Woman, this is your son … this is your Mother” (Jn 19,26.27).

NOVENA A LA REINA Y MADRE DE LOS ÚLTIMOS TIEMPOS

Este lunes 20 de agosto comienza la Novena a la Reina y Madre de los Últimos Tiempos, esta nueva advocación revelada a Luz de María que ya se está extendiendo por el mundo. Culmina el 28 de agosto, día de la Festividad.

Las promesas de María Stma. a quienes realicen esta novena son las siguientes:

  • Recibirán la virtud de la Esperanza, para que no desistan en los instantes en que sientan que el camino se ve lejano y la felicidad de ser hijo de Dios, no se aleje.
  • No permitiré que la desesperación haga presa de ustedes ni se crean abandonados de Mi Hijo. El que solicite misericordia de corazón y firme propósito de enmienda, los recibirán.
  • Les proveeré del Don de la Sabiduría para que sean hijos apegados a la Divina Palabra y no les confundan, al ser hijos que miran la Misión que Dios les ha encomendado. De esta forma no perjudicarán los Planes Divinos.
  • Recibirán el Don de la Fortaleza para que la fe sea firme y fuerte, perseverante y a la vez el amor dirija todo.
  • Las familias serán más unidas y la fraternidad entre los hermanos será el detente ante el mal.
  • Proveeré el amor entre los esposos para que aumente.

NOVENA TO THE QUEEN AND MOTHER OF THE END TIMES

On next monday, August 20th, begins the Novena to the Queen and Mother of the End Times, this new invocation revealed to Luz de María that is already spreading throughout the world. It culminates on August 28th, the day of the Feast.

Our Blessed Mother promises to those who complete this novena the following:

  • You will receive the virtue of Hope, so that you do not desist in the instants when you feel the path seems long, and so that the happiness of being a child of God will not move away.
  • I will not allow despair to take hold of you, neither will allow you to believe that My Son has abandoned you. Whoever asks for mercy of heart and firm purpose of amendment will receive them.
  • I will provide you with the Gift of Wisdom, so you will be children attached to the Divine Word and not be confused, as children who look the Mission that God has entrusted to them. In this way you will not harm the Divine Plans.
  • You will receive the Gift of Strength so that your faith will be firm and strong, persevering, and at the same time, love guides all.
  • Families will be more united and fraternity among brothers and sisters will be stopper to evil.
  • I will provide love between spouses so that it increases.
